Hoboken Division is laying the basis for a combination of garage rock, krautrock and delta blues, constantly evolving, reconciling the mysticism of the Mississipi music with the hypnotism of Suicide.
As influenced by RL Burnside and the Velvet Underground as well as by the Kills or Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the band has been fiercely playing their unique and characteristic sound. They’ve been touring in France and in Europe since 2015, showing the same passion and eagerness for the undeground music scene.
Their shows reflect their statement for authenticity and their commitment to their music and lyrics, bringing a rough, powerful outburst, driven by a warm voice launched on a highway of distortion.
Their new opus, Psycholove, leans towards an even more kraut sound, shrouded by fuzz, creating an intense yet light-infused album, full of psych moments opening a whole new world in their music.

The Artakees sind eine Garage Punk Band aus Essen und Düsseldorf. 
Gegründet 2018, hat sich die Band mit ihren rohen, energiegeladenen Live-Auftritten und ohrwurm-lastigen Songs schnell einen Namen gemacht. Inspiriert von 60er Proto-Punk Bands wie The Sonics oder The Kinks sowie von zeitgenössischen Garage Rock Bands wie The Hives haben The Artakeeseinen Sound erschaffen, der sowohl nostalgisch als auch modern ist. Mit ihren treibenden Drums, melodischen Gitarren und bluesigen Vocals liefert die Band ein ungezügeltes, direktes Live Erlebnis, das jedes Publikum antreibt. Im Februar 2020 haben sie ihr erstes Album "Rush" auf off label records veröffentlicht. The Artakees sind bekannt für ihren rohen energiegeladenen Sound, der sowohl von klassischen als auch gegenwärtigen Bands inspiriert ist und live zu überzeugen weiß.
